Snell Lake is 9 acres in size and 17 feet deep. The lake has populations of brook and rainbow trout. The trail meanders through stands of mature lodgepole and mountain hemlock. It also provides access to Cornall and Farrell Lakes.
Directions: From Crescent Lake Junction: Via State Highway 58, turn south onto highway going to Crescent Lake. Take first paved road, FRS #60, after crossing the railroad tracks. Follow this road for 5 miles. Turn right on Forest Service Road #6010 going to Summit Lake. Approximately 5 miles up Road #6010, Trail #43 crosses the road.
