The two Bingham Lakes are 20 acres in size and 23 feet deep. The lakes have populations of brook trout. This heavily used trail is part of the Old Oregon Trail and is very popular for family hiking. The trail passes through stands of lodgepole and occasionally mountain hemlock.

Directions: From Crescent Lake Junction: Go south on Highway 58 going towards Crescent Lake for approximately two miles. Turn right onto the first paved road, FRS #60, after crossing the railroad tracks. Travel this road for 7 miles. The trailhead is on the left just before the Spring Campground entrance sign.
