The Mill Trailhead accesses the northern section of the Fremont National Recreation Trail which is open to hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bike riders. Accommodations at the trailhead include a parking area adequate for trailer turnaround, a toilet facility half a mile before parking area and signed trail directions. Activities offered include fishing, bird watching, wildlife viewing, and wading.

Directions: From Lakeview: Travel nine miles north of the Lakeview Ranger Station on Highway 395, and turn right on County Road 2-13. You should see a sign. Go on County Road 2-13, which turns into Forest Road 012 for 2 miles to the signed trailhead.

Seasonal Access: Normally Open: June-Mid-October (Trail and parking area maintained during these dates.)
