The Horseshoe Bend Trail provides excellent access to the North Umpqua River for fishing (fly angling only). It begins at the Horseshoe Bend Campground. Watch out for Poison Oak along the trail.

Directions: From Roseburg: Travel east on Highway 138 for 29 miles past the North Umpqua Ranger Station to the Horseshoe Bend Campground on the right. Follow the signs to campsite #9 where the trail begins.

Seasonal Access: Normally Accessible: Year-round (The Horseshoe Bend Campground is open May 20th to September 30th annually.)
