This trail access to Maiden Peak passes through a lodgepole, mountain hemlock and noble fir forest. Forest regulations prohibit use of motorized vehicles on this trail to prevent soil erosion.

Directions: From Crescent: Take County Road #61. Turn right on Cascade Lakes Highway, Road #46, and go 3.5 miles. Turn left on Forest Service Road #4660 and travel 4 miles. Travel straight ahead on Road #4664 one mile, turn left onto Road #4660-100 for 0.8 mile to the trailhead.
