This short trail links Swampy-Dutchman Trail #40 and Flagline Trail #41 near Vista Butte, allowing a variety of loops. This is a winter cross country ski trail which is used in the summer, primarily by mountain bikes. Note: Flagline Trail between Flagline Access and Flagline Tie is closed to all summer use until August 15 to protect Elk calving grounds.

Directions: From Bend: This connector trail is reached via the Swampy-Dutchman Trail # 40 or the Flagline Trail #41, both of which can be accessed from the Dutchman Trailhead or Swampy Lakes Trailhead, 21 and 16 miles west of Bend, respectively, out Century Drive. Northwest Forest Pass required.
