The Donnegan Prairie Trail offers a short hike that discovers the subalpine meadows typical of the Rogue-Umpqua Divide. Many species of wildflowers color the meadows during July and August, and delicious huckleberries appear in September. Dispersed campsites are nearby at Huckleberry Gap and Neal Springs.

Directions: From Tiller: Travel northeast on County Road #46 to Jackson Creek Road #29. Follow 29 east to Road #68 (old #30), just past Cover Campground. Follow Road #68 southeast to Road #2925-800 at the top of the Rogue-Umpqua Divide. Follow Road #2925-800 until the two trailheads for the Donnegan Prairie Trail, approximately 33 miles from Tiller.
