From the trailhead to Winopee Lake Trail , this trail passes through old growth forest near Corral Swamp and Corral Lakes. There are excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and solitude. Access to Metolius-Windigo Horse Trail #99 and Three Sisters Wilderness. Note: This trail is sometimes not cleared of heavy blowdown, so best to inquire before planning a trip. Early season mosquitoes can be hungry.
Note: The trail enters the Three Sisters Wilderness Area shortly after leaving the trailhead. Wilderness Permits are required for both day-use and overnight travel in the Wilderness from Memorial Day Weekend until Oct. 31. Permits are available at the trailhead.

Directions: From Sunriver: Trail begins from Forest Rd. 4632 at Corral Swamp Trailhead, located off Century Drive between Lava and Cultus Lakes , 23 miles west of Sunriver. Northwest Forest Pass required.

Seasonal Access: Normally Open: Mid-Summer-Fall
