Dumont Creek Campground is located on the South Umpqua River just above the mouth of Dumont Creek. This popular site is shaded by a mixed age stand of Douglas fir and a short trail leads to a small beach on the river. This is a reduced service level campground. Please gather firewood only from dead and down litter to avoid damaging vegetation and leave a clean camp for the next visitor.
Facilities include 5 campsites with wooden tables, gravel surfaced roads and parking, 25-45 foot length parking spurs, steel fireplaces with grills,
vault toilets and garbage containers.
Directions: From Tiller: Travel northeast on County Road #46, which becomes South Umpqua Road #28, for 11 miles to the Campground. The entrance is on the right side of the road.
Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: May-October (Campgroud may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)
