The Clearwater Falls Campground is located along the Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway corridor. Here the Clearwater River dances through old growth Douglas-fir forest painting a picture in bright, moist greens and froths of white. Facilities include 12 campsites, picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets and a picnic area that includes eight sites, picnic tables and fire rings.
Directions: From Prospect: Travel northeast on Highway 230 to its junction with Highway 138. Continue on 138 and turn south at the Clearwater Falls Campground Sign. There are two areas for camping. The first area is to your left after you pass the entry sign. To get to the second location get on the Highway heading east for approximately one mile. Turn right onto Road 4785 for another mile and the camping area is off to the right.
