The Can Springs Campground is located in a forest setting, but on the edge of the High Desert. The site features large ponderosa pine stands and is two miles from the Swale Trailhead which accesses the Fremont National Recreation Trail. Accommodations include three campsites, an outhouse, picnic tables and fire grates.

Activities include bird watching, wildlife viewing and photography. The
nearby Freemont National Recreation trail is open to hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bike riders.

Directions: From Lakeview: Take Highway 140 east for 8 miles, then turn left on Forest Road 3615. Go on Forest Road 3615 for 12 miles, then turn right on Forest Road 3720. Go on Forest Road 3720 for 4 miles and you will see the entrance sign.

Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: June-Mid-October (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)
