Camp Comfort is located near the upper South Umpqua River. The water stays cool all summer and the campsites are shaded by large old-growth cedar and fir. A restored Civilian Conservation Corps shelter is part of one campsite. This site is a reduced service level campground. Please gather firewood only from dead and down litter to avoid damaging vegetation and leave a clean camp for the next visitor.

Facilities include a CCC shelter, five campsites with wooden tables, gravel surfaced roads and parking, 25-45 foot length parking spurs, steel fireplaces with grills, an accessible vault toilet, and garbage containers.

Directions: From Tiller: Travel northeast on County Road #46, which becomes South Umpqua Road #28, for 26 miles to the Campground. The entrance is on the right side of the road.
