Located at the confluence of South Fork Chetco with the main stem of the Wild and Scenic Chetco River, South Forks Camps is a little more than a 1/2 hour drive from the coastal town of Brookings. Enjoy summer fun in the crystal clear waters of this outstanding river. Picnicking, sunbathing and all manner of water sports are possible. For shaded overnight camping, use tent, camper or small trailer. Facilities include toilets, trash collection, and river access.

The Lower South Fork Camp provides a larger area with access to both the South Fork and main stem Chetco River. The Upper South Fork Camp provides a more secluded location along the South Fork Chetco River.

Directions: From Brookings: Travel east on County Road 784 (North Bank Chetco River Road) to Forest Service Road 1376. South Fork Camps are approximately eight miles from the Forest boundary on Forest Service Road 1376.

Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: Mid-May-Mid-October (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)
