The Silver Creek March Campground is a popular fishing spot along Silver Creek (4800′ elevation) in a forest setting. On site is a trailhead for the Fremont National Recreation Trail. Accommodations include 17 tent and trailer sites, picnic tables and fire grates, drinking water, horse corrals and five hitching rails. Firewood is available off site.
Activities include bird watching, wildlife viewing, fishing, wading and hiking, horseback riding and mountain biking on the Freemont National Recreation Trail.
Directions: From Silver Lake: Travel west on Highway 31, and turn left on County Road 4-11. Take Forest Road 27 for 10 miles, and you will see the campground/trailhead entrance sign.
Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: May-Mid-November (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)
