North Fork Campground is a semi-primitive camping area offering limited facilities, but providing access to some fascinating recreational opportunities including hiking through old growth forests at the PAWN Trail, and fishing in the North Fork Siuslaw River.

The Campground is open seasonally from early May through October. It is rather remote and is not recommended for large RV’s. Facilities include tables, fire rings, and chemical toilets. During the summer, there is a camp host on site.

The campground is on the site of the James homestead. The homestead was occupied in the late 1800′s/early 1900′s until the late 1930′s or 1940. A walnut tree remains on the site from the old homestead. The Pawn Post
Office was located near the homestead.

Directions: From Florence: Follow Highway 26 east to County Road 5070. Follow 5070 north to County Road 5084. Follow 5084 north to the campground. The campground is approximately 16 miles from Florence.

Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: May-October (Weather Permitting)
