The Mud Creek Campground offers seven quiet camp sites at 6,600 feet elevation. The site features secluded stands of lodgepole pine trees and Mud Creek is adjacent to the campsites. Fishing is surprisingly excellent in Mud Creek. Facilities include picnic tables, fire grates and outhouses. Recreational opportunities include fishing, bird watching, wildlife viewing, and wading in Mud Creek. The Crane Mt. National Recreation Trail is two miles to the west accessed at the Walker Trailhead for those interested in hiking.
Directions: From Lakeview: Travel east on Highway 140 for 8 miles, then turn left on Forest Road 3615. Go on Forest Road 3615 for 7 miles and you will see the entrance sign.
Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: June-Mid-October (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)
