Located on the recreation portion of the Wild and Scenic Chetco River, the Miller Bar Campground is less than a short 1/2 hour drive from the coastal town of Brookings. Enjoy summer fun in the crystal clear waters of this outstanding river. Picnicking, sunbathing and all manner of water sports are possible. For overnight camping, use a tent, camper or small trailer. A few shaded sites can be found in the tree line. Facilities include toilets, trash collection, and river access.
Directions: From Brookings: Travel east on County Road 784 (North Bank) to Forest Service Road 1376. Miller Bar is approximately two miles from the Forest boundary on Forest Service Road 1376.
Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: Mid-May-Mid-October (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)
