The French Pete Campground is located approximately 20 miles southeast of Blue River at an elevation of 1,800 feet. This campground has 17 sites with trailer space, tables and fire rings. Potable water and toilets are available.
Originally constructed in 1933, French Pete Campground has evolved into one of the district’s most popular campground. Located at the confluence of French Pete Creek and the South Fork of the McKenzie River, a
thick canopy of conifers keep this area cool and refreshing during the hot summer months.
