Just about anything you find on TravelOregon.com can be added to your own personal Trip Planner. Find out how.
Located on the historical Barlow Road (3530), the Forest Creek Campground is situated along Forest Creek. Although many pioneers passed by this site, few actually camped here. They did water their stock and themselves in the creek and possibly stopped here briefly on the last leg of their long journey to the fertile valleys west of the Cascades.
Directions: From Tygh Valley: Travel west on Primary Forest Route 48 across the forest boundary. Continue on 48 for approximately an additional 10-12 miles to Forest Road 4885. Follow 4885 southeast for approximately one mile to the campground.
Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: July-Early September (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)
Facility Type: Campground
