Located along the Winchuck River before reaching the Winchuck Campground, the First Camp Campground is a little more than a 1/2 hour drive from the coastal town of Brookings. Enjoy cool shaded camping along the scenic Winchuck River. For overnight camping, use tent, camper or small trailer. Facilities include toilets, trash collection, and river access.
Activities offered are picnicking, fishing, swimming, floating, water play, sun bathing, and a scenic area.

Directions: From Brookings: Travel south on Highway 101 to County Road 896 (Winchuck River Road). Follow 896 east to Forest Service Road 1107. Follow 1107 east to the campground (paved road access).

Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: Mid-May-Mid-October (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)
