Located on the East Lake in Newberry National Volcanic Monument the East Lake Campground offers 29 campsites with vault and flush toilets, drinking water, and a boat launch. Bears are a common occurrence at all campgrounds in Newberry Caldera. Please be Bear Safe. Special activities around the camp include: fishing, hiking, swimming, bird watching, bicycling, sightseeing, canoeing.

Directions: From Bend: Travel 23.5 miles south on Hwy. 97, then 16.6 miles east on Rd. 21.

Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: May-October
