The Dog Lake Campground is a popular bass, perch, crappie fishing area. Dog Lake is both a warm and cold water fishery and an excellent place for bird watching. Day use only at the boat launch. Accommodations include tent and trailer sites, picnic tables and fire grates, outhouses, a boat ramp and drinking water.
Activities include boating (5 mph speed limit), bird watching and wildlife viewing.
Directions: From Lakeview: Take Highway 140 west for 10 miles, then turn left on County Road 1-13. Go on County Road 1-13 for 4 miles and turn right on County Road 1-11D. Go on County Road 1-11D for 4 miles and the road turns into Forest Road 4017. Stay on 4017 for 12 miles, going past Drews Reservoir, and you will see the Dog Lake signs.
Seasonal Access: Normal Services Available: June-Mid-October (Campground may be open beyond these dates with limited services available.)
