Digit Point Campground is located on the shores of beautiful Miller Lake just 12 miles west of U.S. Highway 97 and Chemult, Oregon on Miller Lake Road (9772). The campground offers a full array of activities including camping, boating, swimming, fishing, and hiking. It’s a great access point to the Mt. Thielson Wilderness for hikers.

Amenities include piped water, flush toilets and an RV dump station. There are 64 tent / RV sites and 6 picnic sites. There is a fee for use of the campground and sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail and Maidu Lake Trail can be accessed from the northwest end of the Miller Lake Trail. The Maidu Lake Trail travels 3.5 miles through the Mt. Thielsen Wilderness. Motorized and mechanized vehicles (motorcycles and bicycles) are off limits within the Mt. Thielsen Wilderness. They are permitted within the campground and on the Miller Lake Road.

The lake is stocked periodically with brown, brook, and rainbow trout and Kokanee Salmon, making it one of the most favorite fishing spots in Central Oregon. Miller Lake is special, in that one can fish 24 hours a day here.

Directions: From Chemult: Travel west on Forest Road 9772 for 12 miles to the campground.
