Park in the small lot on the north side of Bensel Road (0.2 mile east of Hwy 395) for access to this 80-acre wetland. Waterproof boots are required to enter some of the area. Birding is best in spring and summer. Look for Virginia Rail, Sora, some passerines, and American Bittern (locally rare).
