The 16th Annual Nez Perce Art in the Wallowa art show artists reception, silent and oral auction celebrate Nez Perce and Columbia Plateau tribal art and artists. Highlight include tradition beading, rawhide work, bronze sculptures, high-tech photography and paintings. Admission to the art show begins at 12 noon (pdt) and is free to the public. Saturday evening’s dinner and entertainment begins at 6pm with BBQ salmon, local grown buffalo, local grown garden favorites, and huckleberry cheescake. Nez Perce story teller, Carlotta Kauffman will perform a clollection of stories, “According to Coyote”. Tickets for the evening event are available at Lamb Trading Co. in Joseph, and the Wallowa Band Nez Perce Trail Interpretive Center in Wallowa. Due to limited seating and sell-out crowds, we encourage you to reserve your tickets in advance. Cost is $45 per person.
