Overnight camping is available at Mona campground, boat launching at Saddle Dam and Lookout Creek ramps. Fishing, swimming and water skiing are the favorite activities at the two recreation areas, both near the upper end of the lake
In the Willamette National Forest, in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, this scenic 1,240 acre lake with its many miles of forested shoreline provides multiple outdoor recreational opportunities. Overnight camping is available at Mona campground, boat launching at Saddle Dam and Lookout Creek ramps. Fishing, swimming and water skiing are the favorite activities at the two recreation areas, both near the upper end of the lake. There are no Corps operated parks on Blue River Lake.
: The climate in Oregon varies greatly by region. The coastal region and the regions west of the Cascade Range are generally temperate and wet. Temperatures in the western portion of the state rarely rise above 85 degrees F during the warmest months and rarely dip below freezing during the winter
Location: Blue River Dam is located about 38 miles east of Eugene, between Eugene and Redmond, on the Blue River.
