Gorge Artists Open Studio Tour
What does an artist’s studio look like? How do artists bring intangible ideas into tangible form? You have your opportunity to observe creativity in action and find answers to questions about the creative process by visiting the studios of professional artists located in the scenic beauty of the Columbia River Gorge during the Gorge Artists Open Studio Tour. The Tour is a self-guided, free tour of the studios of regional artists. The Tour takes place April 11, 12, 13 this year. The studios are open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. The studios on the tour are located in the Gorge from The Dalles, Oregon on the east to Hood River, Oregon on the west and from Trout Lake, Washington on the north to Parkdale/Mt. Hood, Oregon on the south. Please seize the chance to see beautiful art in a beautiful setting; make this event your destination weekend. Works by participating artists will be displayed in preview shows in the Columbia Art Gallery in Hood River, the Window Gallery in White Salmon and The Dalles Art Center in The Dalles during March.
