Hells Canyon Mule Days celebrates the rich history of the canyon lands and Mules and Muleskinners of NE Oregon the weekend after Labor Day each year. From its humble beginnings in 1981 it has progressed steadily and is one of the best mule shows in the Northwest. The event includes cowboy poetry, artisans, exhibitors, pit BBQ, mule and horse sale, and the one-of-a-kind Hells Canyon Mules Day Parade. This annual event draws mule owners, and spectators intrigued by this long-eared equine, from all over the West and Canada. Enterprise Oregon at the County Fairgrounds.
