“The Composer is Dead”
“How do you introduce kids and parents to the joys of classical music?” … The Composer is Dead is a humorous Whodunit designed to do just that. HOOK children and grown-ups alike on classical music. The musicians sitting there so prim and proper, are most certainly up to something, don’t you think? Where exactly were the violinists on the night in question? Don’t you think the horn section protesteth too loudly? Has anyone seen the harpist (or for that matter, the harp?)
Sat, July 26, 7:30pm: Orchestra Concert II, James Paul Conductor
“The Russians are Coming”
Rimsky-Korsakov: Dance of the Comedians
Shostakovich: Violin Concerto #1 (Steven MOECKEL)
Tchaikovsky: Symphony #4
