Tis the season, and Hood River, Oregon is the place to be. Known as the “Holiday Town of Oregon,” downtown Hood River transforms every year into a classic small-town holiday setting.
On the first Friday of December, enjoy an old-fashioned, small-town parade, the lighting of our grand holiday tree, caroling, cocoa and cookies, and of course, Santa.
Along the main street, you’ll find beautifully lit holiday trees, decorated storefronts, and lots of unique shopping opportunities–including alpaca clothing, handmade jewelry, and one-of-a-kind crafts. Great restaurants are available throughout the town, along with local craft beers, and six wine-tasting rooms–all within an eight-block radius.
Celebrate the season in one of the most beautiful towns in the Pacific Northwest: Hood River, Oregon.
