The bronc riding consists of thirty-five contestants vying for $25,000 in prize money. Each contestant participates in the first go-round with the top ten by score advancing to the second go-round, and then, the top five in the second go advance to championship round. 50 rides – one day – great action and excitement. The bull riding consists of 40 contestants vying for $25,000 in prize money. Each contestant participates in the first go-round with the top ten advancing to the championship round. Fast paced – dangerous – adrenalin pumping. The Baker City Bronc & Bull Riding is known throughout the rodeo world for its quality production coming from the outstanding roughstock from Flying Five & Big Bend rodeo companies; contestants from the U.S., Canada, and Australia; and the prize money that makes the competitors put out their best effort. Admisison all ages There are beer gardens for adults each day opening one hour before the events and continuing until 1:00 a.m. each night.
