Veteran winemaker and entreprenuer Joe Dobbes presents Dobbes Family Estate and Wine By Joe. Dobbes Family Estate promises wines of distinction that represent a true expression of the finest varietals in Oregon by marrying Nature, Nurture and Artistry to craft wines that exhibit unparalleled quality and sophistication. We focus on the finest of the cool climate varietals grown in the Willamette Valley, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. For the warm climate varietals, we produce what we feel to be the best of the Rogue Valley region, Syrah and Viognier. Dobbes Family Estate wines are artfully created to be very drinkable and approachable while young, yet have the structure and acidity to age well and reward the patient. Wine By Joe is “Really Good” wine without attitude. The brand is focused on the three Pinot’s and one Rose. Wine By Joe represents high quality for an exceptional value. The winemaking objectives are to produce wines that are true to varietal character, fruit forward and mouthwatering. The wine is whimsically labeled, yet exceeds expectations by delivering serious wine without the serious price. A percentage from each case is donated to the Northwest Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Our vineyard is located in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA and is planted to Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc.
