With a grand piano, roving spotlight and vintage photos, Tony Starlight’s Supperclub-Lounge is like an elegant kind of old Hollywood club – which is appropriate, its being at the Gateway to Portland’s Hollywood District.
Open since January 2007, Starlight’s has been serving Portland’s working crowd with everything from calamari to crawfish cakes, a full bar, regional wines and microbrews on tap. Its full course steak, seafood and pasta dinners can be enjoyed while experiencing live performances of traditional jazz, swing, piano bar, elegant vocalists and even an 18-piece big band! On occasional evenings it’s Tony’s own show, which is a throwback to a real live Vegas-style musical comedy show. There is nothing else like it.
