The cooking revolves around wild mushrooms, which they gather themselves and with friends. Every effort is made to create dishes that pair well with the glorious wines of Oregon, especially Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Chardonnay.

We stopped here after a long day of wine tasting in the Willamette Valley and loved the delicious and inventive uses of mushrooms on their menu. One of our guests even sampled the Maple Mushroom Martini that was topped with a sugar cap type mushroom. I could see that the mushroom tart was wholeheartedly designed to display for the eater that mushrooms were indeed, the main ingredient. Entrees were also as excellent, we sampled the Lobster Newberg, Elk Loin, and Beef Stroganoff all of which were of what you would expect of a small town, coastal experience paired with culinary excellence.
