Still Creek Inn is HORRIBLE! Don’t believe anything positive.
My wife and I stopped at the Still Creek Inn Restaurant for breakfast about a week ago, on a Sunday at about 8 AM. The time prior to that was a year ago, and at that time found it satisfactory.

This time it was an entirely different experience. We were the only ones in the breakfast/lunch area, and the only other folks, about 8-9, were in a group in the dinner portion. The place looked run down, not like I remembered it. The vinyl upholstery throughout was severely torn and frayed: so much so that the seating was uncomfortable.
The room was cold. My phone thermometer registered just 60 degrees. We noticed one of 4 ceiling fans in our dining area running at one of the faster speeds, and two more in the dining room at a much slower speed. We sat down as far from the wind caused by the fan as we could, but found it still quite cold and windy. I asked the waitress if she could turn the fan down to the slower speed like the distant fans were running. Her reply was that she would check with the cook. Never did the fan speed reduce, and we would have left but we had ordered our meals. We did not know that it would take 25 minutes more for us to get our food on top of the 15 minutes we waited just for the waitress to bring the coffee. Had we known that, we would have cancelled our order and left.
My chicken fried steak had a sour tint to it and the gravy was cold. The cheese on top of the hashed browns appeared to have been sitting out in the open because it was so dry on the top side, it looked like dried wide egg noodles and the onions that were supposed to have been fried with the hashed browns, were raw.
    The coffee was fine.
Before we left, I went to the men’s room, only to find it absolutely filthy. Dirt and hair had gathered in the corners and on the fixtures for what looked like years. The foot traffic had revealed the only areas where the flooring could be seen beneath the grime. I think I will check the restrooms first before deciding to eat anywhere, in the future.
Overall, it appeared that the owner/employees/staff did not care a lick about their jobs nor the condition of the environment nor the food.
On top of all that, just two traditional breakfasts with coffee came to over $35.00, not including a tip. Expensive, even for the Hilton!
I gave it one star because I did not know how to give it a -5 star.
    AVOID! Better to go hungry.

My boyfriend and I had a gift certificate for Still Creek Inn and dropped by last Wednesday evening. The staff was friendly, prompt and courteous. The food was delivered hot and in short order. I ordered the steak, which was flavorful and cooked just right. The veal, too, was prepared in German fashion and delicious. Highly recommend. We will return and try more items from Chef Brigette’s creative menu.

This is a weekly stop for me when I go to pick up flowers. The staff is always courteous & prompt,I enjoy the Wild wood burger the best fat and juicy along with the homemade soup dujour. I highly recommend stopping in for a great meal.
