The name Puddin’ River Chocolate is derived from the Pudding River which flows between Canby and Aurora, Oregon, eventually joining into the Molalla and the Willamette Rivers. The river’s muddy color comes form the clay-rich soils it flows through, as the tiny soil particles hang in suspension.
