Sahalie Falls plunges 100 feet (30 m) over a lava dam and then tumbles 40 feet (12 m) in a series of cascades. The Sahalie Falls viewpoint is wheelchair accessible. Koosah Falls, one mile (1.6 km) east by trail, drops 70 feet (21 m) into a deep pool.

    Inappropriate?

    Sahalee Falls is another one of Oregon’s beautiful waterfalls – what makes this waterfall unique is that is it part of the famous McKenzie River Trail. Easy and free Hwy parking, interpretive signs, handicap viewpoint access and restrooms make this a great stop on a scenic drive. Even better, take the 3 mile Waterfall Loop Trail that connects Sahalee and Koosah Falls and takes you on both sides of the waterfalls. A trail map can be downloaded from VisitMcKenzieRiver.com
