The Alsea Valley Country Trail is a self-guided tour that offers country adventures for the entire family and a chance to get out of the car. You can find something to do, something to see, and something to buy. The Alsea Valley Country Trails runs west from Marys Peak to the Pacific Ocean. This spectacular driving trail follows the Alsea River and the towns of Philomath, Alsea, Tidewater and Waldport. Stops along the way include an amazing variety of artists, farms, wine tasting rooms, fishing, swimming, camping, open sheep and alpaca ranches, fish hatcheries, boat launches, rafting, kayaking, river dining, B&B’s, quilts, nurseries, festivals, dog breeders, even a white wolf sanctuary! Organized trail tours available.
