The oldest facility of its kind in the United States separating the upper and lower Willameet Rivers, these locks opened in 1873 and have been operating ever since. This National Historic Site offers boating and walk-in sites to enjoy the scenic locks, including great views of Mt. Hood, as well as picnic areas to relax in. Visit the museum and ask about tours. Call for hours.
