Cougar East Trailhead

This trailhead is located near the northern boundary of the Ochoco National Forest and provides access to the eastern terminus of Cougar Trail (#835).  In the summer of 2014 the Bailey Butte fire burned through this area and much of the damage is still visible.  The roadside sign was lost in the fire, but a new signboard has been installed at the actual trailhead. Swinging Bridge

Located a half-mile upstream from Centennial Bridge, Swinging Bridge was built for foot and bicycle traffic and was mostly used by children crossing the Coast Fork to get to school.
