Horrible management
I took my grandkids camping at Medford oaks, never again! The owner Debbie and her office staff are rude, unfriendly, they accused my grandkids of breaking a piece of playground toy, they tried to explain to the lady that it was already cracked and bolts were in the dirt. She wouldn't listen to them the kids were crying as she was yelling at us and pointed her finger right at each one of our faces and loudly called us liars in front of other great the pool. Then screaming at us "get out of my pool " we walked back to our campsite and she called my phone and left a long message and changed her story said she saw them jumping on it but she never went to the playground and saw them. She said their is a sign saying only 10 year Olds, no sign says age. The next morning at 830 we were packing up she started again yelling and screaming at us, I agree with all the other reviews of the management at this place, she is a miserable woman, who obviously doesn't like people. The other staff is not friendly either but she is mean and has a foul mouth.

AVOID AT ALL COST
Unbelievable rude customer service. Screamed in child's face "To get the f__k out of her pool!" Screamed at numerous paying guests that are residing in the RV park to get the f__k out including us that were guest of a paid RV tenant trying to have a friendly BBQ with 5 adults and 7 children. Which we never even got the food hot.. She was calling people bit__es and yelling f__k you in front of a dozen plus kids aside from my own. All unprovoked. She called the sheriffs and told them we were trespassing and didnt pay. We gladly left and will not return. She also is overcharging guest, check website and your bill closely for sure. We made sure we were allowed to be their, it is open to the public with no fees for bbqing and a small fee for swimming/pond use which we would have gladly paid given the chance. Avoid at all cost. The side of road is a better option read other reviews those are not lies or exaggeration about the owner or people running this place.

Watch out for this place!
I called to make a reservation. Their website quotes $30/night. After taking my information, the clerk said that will be $40 and taxes. I told her about the web site and asked how long they had been $40? "Quite some time ago." was the response. Although irritated, I went ahead and made the reservation. After about 20 minutes, I decided that this was nothing more than "bait and switch", sent them an email telling them exactly that and to cancel my reservation. When I called to ask why they processed my credit card, the woman was horribly rude. Unconcerned about the difference in price on the internet, she told me that she was going to deduct a $10 "processing fee" and only return $30! When I told her that I sent an email 20 minutes after I hung up, she had the gall to tell me that they don't check their email everyday and didn't know about the cancelation. When I ask the person taking the reservations about how long the rate change had been in effect, she said: "Quite some time ago." That tells me this is a "bait and switch" scheme. Believe all the bad reviews you see on this place!!!!

Do NOT come here! Especially if you have a van!
Incredibly unprofessional owner. Hair in the shower and on the bathroom floors. Toilets hardly flush. Trash cans not changed often which leaves the bathrooms smelling like something died. Told we could have hammock up or pretty much anything on our table. Highly recommend sleeping in a shady hotel over this place. Management needs an attitude adjustment or to remember theyre supposed to be hosting guests, not badgering them into leaving.

An RV park with all the amenities for reasonable cost
We are traveling in our RV and found this campground online. With a quick phone call, we were able to reserve a site for that night. $35 got us a lovely little site under the live oaks with a grill, picnic table, electric and water. The park has most amenities of much larger campgrounds and quite a few sites for big and small RVs/trailers and tents, and yet it does not feel crowded. The family-owned property (which I like to support rather than the giant chains) is clean and well maintained. It’s just a great place to stay!
