I have stayed here 4-5 times, cabins always clean, Staff is really nice and grounds have improved over the years. But unfortunately you have to book a year in advance should you wish to come the same weekend and if your plans change, you’re slammed with a cancellation penalty of $75!! Cabin will rebook easily knowing how busy this place gets. Also, getting a refund to your credit card cannot occur, they have to issue a check and good luck on when that might occur. Not sure I will be back just based on this experience.
We stayed in the campground, RV section. The staff were very helpful and friendly. This resort has a combination of vintage and more modern cabins. The surroundings are absolutely lovely. I would absolutely love to visit again.
Very good customer service and quality food in restaurant! Cabin is older rustic vintage but well maintained overall. Beautiful Lake setting and many trails for hiking even during the winter. We have stayed several times in summer months and fishing is very good as well!
A great place to spend our Anniversary and our 6th. time to be there! It is always a pleasure to get away to the cabins. People it is the woods and a cabin!!!! Not a big fancy hotel. If you stay in a cabin bring your own food and have a great time! They are always friendly and no problems. Enjoy Gods creation and the lovely few!
We had an amazing time at LOW and were surprised just how laid back and relaxing it was. I think it helped we were there in a quieter time (October), we went biking, hiking, sat by the lake and ate/drank at the lodge. The most amazing part of our stay was how incredibly friendly all of the employees were. They seem to love what they do. We'll be back soon!
