Don Beck's bronze sculpture subjects to date include; western, wildlife (north American and African wildlife), marine life, waterfowl, fish, historic, equine (horses), native American Indians, dogs, cowboys, cowgirls, contemporary and\/or portrait.

All Don Beck's bronze sculptures are done in small limited editions with some very small limited editions of silver sculpture available making them very rare and more valuable for the serious collector and investor alike. Beck spends an enormous amount of time in the research prior to and during the creation of each new sculpture that he undertakes. As you will note in his work, much attention to minute detail for realism and authenticity is undertaken, as well as Don's unique ability to capture the spirit of his subjects. Beck's love for horses, dogs and animal life of any and all species, and including people can be seen in his work (very realistic and life like).

Each bronze or silver sculpture is an original one of a kind work of art, inspired and created by representational bronze sculptor Don Beck of Historic Baker City, Oregon. Bronze sculptors commission services are welcome for sculpture commissions for work of any size, including monumental sculptures or statues.<\/p>","post_name":"don-beck-bronzes","post_type":"resource","slug":"attractions","name":"Attractions","lat":"44.7887","lng":"-117.783","distance":"4.3","permalink":"\/see-do\/attractions\/art-galleries\/don-beck-bronzes\/","terms":"an

For over thirty years the Sumpter Valley Railroad Restoration Inc. has been dedicated to rebuilding this remnant of the past for the enjoyment of future generations. Since the first excursion train pulled out of McEwen station in 1976, an almost all volunteer staff has rebuilt over five miles of rail line, fully restored two original steam locomotives, refurbished numerous pieces of rolling stock, and constructed all the facilities it takes to run a railroad.

While traveling through the forests and gold dredge tailings of the Sumpter Valley visitors are given a glimpse back in time without having to leave the comfort of the present.

Operating between McEwen and the historic mining town of Sumpter, the steam-powered excursion trains of the Sumpter Valley Railroad offer an enjoyable way for the whole family to spend a day.<\/p>","post_name":"sumpter-valley-railroad-restoration-inc","post_type":"resource","slug":"attractions","name":"Attractions","lat":"44.7721","lng":"-117.782","distance":"4.8","permalink":"\/see-do\/oregon-heritage\/old-west-oregon-trail-heritage\/sumpter-valley-railroad-restoration-inc\/","terms":"an
