This hiking trail, which starts on the Oregon Redwoods Barrier Free Trail #1106<\/a>along Peavine Ridge in the Winchuck River drainage, loops down to the west into upper Moser Creek drainage to access a grove of majestic old-growth redwood trees. Interpretation, which will discuss forest ecology, redwood life cycle, fire history, wildlife and botany, will be installed at the trailhead and along the connecting Oregon Redwoods Barrier Free Trail #1106.<\/p>\r\n

Directions: Take Winchuck River Rd off Highway 101, make a right on Peavine Ridge Rd and follow to the end of the parking lot. The Great Cats World Park<\/a> is an interactive park in which staff and trainers interact with the predators to bring out their natural and instinctive behaviors. The Park is nestled in the Siskiyou Mountains in Southern Oregon.  About 30 miles from Grants Pass on the Redwood Highway\/Route 199. 

The cats at the Great Cats World Park have captivated audiences across the country at festivals, wildlife parks, AZA (American Zoological Association) institutions, schools art and sports shows and many other civic events.

Their 10 acres are home to one of the largest and most varied collections of exotic cats on the west coast. There are more than 16 species of cats at the park. Their goal is to introduce as many guests as possible to their many feline ambassadors and demonstrate some of their incredible athletic abilities. Treesort and Institute<\/a> features Treehouse accommodations for kids of all ages. If you come to learn, relax, romance or just have fun there is plenty for all. Out'n'About is an veritable treehouse wonderland. There is a total of 18 different treehouses, platforms, forts, seven swinging bridges (8' to 32' off the ground and 12' to 90' long), five swings, 20 flights of stairs, four ladders and a ropes course with a 160' long zip line as a warm up to the Giant Zip. On the ground there is also a fresh water swimming pool fed by the East Fork Illinois River, a performance stage, bath house pavilion, big campfire site and barbecues (to mention but a few facilitrees). The treesort has 36 private acres backed up to National Forest wilderness with 16 horses, two rocking horses, 5 dogs, 1 cat, and 8 chickens (at last count) running around.  Out 'n' About is a truly unique place.
